Skigital, LLC is a boutique Marketing Agency based in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Working remotely, I served as an Account Manager and Content Creator for this organization for six months. The role of the Account Manager and Content Creator really boiled down to creating social media content and manage multiple social media platforms for each account. During my time with Skigital, LLC, I managed accounts for nine different businesses. Each account required it’s own unique content and branding needs on varying social media platforms. Based on the level of digital marketing package each client opted in determined the frequency of postings and platforms I would post on, thus varying from account to account.

Working Remotely

I learned a great deal during my time working remotely for Skigital, LLC. Communication is key especially when you are not in direct contact with a client. This caused me to rely heavily on my managers to relay what type of content the client would like to see and how they wanted their voice to come across via that content. Also not being from the area, creating content for local businesses required a great deal of research of the area and how those businesses were perceived in the local community. Remote content creation gave me an opportunity to really submerge myself in a new area and challenge myself to put on the shoes of the local community, in order to make sure my accounts and the content I created were able to connect and attract the attention of local consumers.
