Florida State University

When I first arrived at Florida State University I was on a hyperspeed mission to earn a degree in Public Relations, without much consideration of what else was available to me. It wasn’t until an introductory Technologies course that my interest in how we use ever-changing technology to communicate was peaked. From that moment on I began seeking out courses that would give me the best of both worlds further connecting Technology and Communications. Lucky enough for me, Florida State University was ahead of the times with a degree specifically geared toward just that.

My sophomore year I found myself pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Communication and Technology. With courses focused on traditional marketing and newly emerging technologies, my passion for digital marketing quickly developed. I was hooked. Any class that I thought would further my understanding of how technology could aid communication in new and interesting ways was promptly added to my schedule. Overall my courseload at Florida State University set a base layer of knowledge that I’ve since been able to build off of.

Although this only begins to scrape the top of my time at Florida State University, a few courses worth mentioning are:
