Panel Discussion at the Women In Leadership 2014 Conference

In February 2014, I had the opportunity to assist in the organizing and hosting of the ‘Women In Leadership Conference.’ The purpose of the conference was to inspire women in the Information Technology and Communication fields to become passionate, driven leaders on Florida State University’s campus, in addition to helping them develop the skills to move forward in the professional world. The conference was put on and sponsored by the College of Communication and Information, as well as the computer storage and data management company, NetApp.

For the conference, I was responsible for on-campus marketing, social media promotions as well as general operations on the day of the event. Following the conference, I am responsible for spearheading a team to conduct follow-up surveys and questionnaires in order to improve, develop and build the conference for years to come.
