While immersing myself in Florida State University’s College of Communications and Information I had the opportunity to part of CCI’s Social Media Team. As a core member of this team, I was tasked with establishing a blog for the college. We launched the “Leave Your Legacy” blog in the Spring 2014 semester in hopes to give a closer, more personal account of the life of CCI students. “Leave Your Legacy” quickly provided an outlet for students to share experiences, tips, tricks and general thoughts on the College of Communications and Information.

Creation of the blog was not the only task of CCI’s Social Media Team. We were responsible for contributing to the blog, as well as recruiting other students to share their experiences on the blog, and promoting not only the blog but the overall college on multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
